Distribution: Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf. Easy to spot while snorkeling in Egypt and Jordan.
May be confused with Rhinecanthus verrucosus, Rhinecanthus aculeatus and Rhinecanthus rectangulus.
