Green turtle, black turtle
Distribution: tropical, subtropical and temperate waters of the Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Ocean, including the Mediterranean and the Red Sea. It is by far the most sighted sea turtles when snorkeling. Easy to spot in many destinations, including Mexico, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Martinique, Bonaire, Mayotte, Indonesia and Japan.
