Distribution: présent in all tropical seas, excepted the Eastern Pacific. In the Indo-Pacific, ranges from the Red Sea and East Africa to Hawaii and Marquesas. In the Atlantic, found from Massachusetts and Bermuda to Brazil, including the Caribbean Sea, and along West Africa coasts.
